Tax and Financial Assistance, Inc. was established in November 2002 with the goal to provide my clients with personalized service at a reasonable cost. I have 24 years experience in accounting, income tax planning and preparation, and for the last 19 years I have specialized in accounting and tax preparation for Estates and Trusts as well as individuals. I especially enjoy working with people who need a little extra help with understanding finances. Too often we see them after they had taken a non-professionals advice and made a decision resulting in a huge financial error. I enjoy working one-on-one with my clients and the satisfaction that comes with knowing I have helped them resolve a problem or task that seemed overwhelming.
Originally from Michigan, I moved to Mesa in 1973, so I’m almost a native. I am married to Ed (who is an Arizona native) and between the two of us we have five children. All of whom live in the Phoenix area.
I hold the Enrolled Agent (EA – Enrolled to practice before the IRS), Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA) and Accredited Retirement Advisor (ARA) credentials and am currently a member in the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), Central Arizona Society of Enrolled Agents (CACEA), Accreditation Council for Accountancy & Taxation (ACAT), Arizona Society of Public Accounts (ASPA) and National Society of Accountants (NSA). Regular professional training keeps me up to date on the ever-changing tax laws and money management methods.
